Craig Cooper is a co-founder and managing partner of ALARMS-HQ. Cooper retired in 2022 as the Chief of Special Operations for Las Vegas Fire & Rescue with over 25 years in the fire service. Cooper led Special Event Planning, the Technical Rescue Team, Hazardous Materials Team and rotated as the commander of a regional CBRNE task force. His last position with LVFR also had him serving on the Local Emergency Planning Committee and Joint Terrorism Task Force.
Cooper not only responded to the 1 October shooting in Las Vegas, but was part of the command team that set-up and ran the Family Assistance Center and built out the Resiliency Center. Cooper was an Incident Commander during COVID-19 for an Alternate Care Site and the Las Vegas vaccine Points of Distribution. His committee service includes the International Association of Fire Chiefs (Urban Search and Rescue), National Fire Protection Agency (NFPA 3000: Active Shooter/ Hostile Event Response), and DHS NUSTL.
Cooper holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Public Administration from UNLV and a Master of Arts Degree in Security Studies from Naval Postgraduate School.
